Not only is it a joy to work with so many moms again and again for their portraits, it absolutely makes my day to get messages like this :

I got a request for a high updo for an upcoming event, and I realized I really don’t have much in the way of high updo’s on my page. And they’re so beautiful and trending this year!

So here’s one I created a few months ago for a styling competition that has been patiently waiting in the drafts folder for entry time… just in time for them to switch up the submissions process this year! Oh well! So much for waiting!

Oh Hi There!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted so let me take a second to welcome all the new faces to my page!

The summer has been crazy- with weddings, family time (yay for mini vacations being possible again thanks to us all getting vaccinated), and getting ready for the school year back to normal.

Fall wedding season is off to a great start already, and it’s nose to the grindstone until the end of the year. Thank you to everyone for their patience as I navigate the larger than normal last minute requests for schedule changes this year. I know it’s due to COVID throwing wrenches 🔧 in plans like it’s Armageddon out there, so if you’re wondering what’re I’ve been it’s likely behind my computer screen rewriting timelines and coordinating with my assistants.

2022 is almost booked, so if you are thinking of working with me for your big day next year, please note that I have room to accept FOUR more weddings for the entire year, and that’s it! (I have two brides waiting on dates from venues, so technically that’s only like two more…) so that means if you send me an inquiry and I say yep I’m available but cannot guarantee that will remain the situation long, that’s not a line I’m feeding you!

I have a set number of weddings I cap myself at so I can balance time with my family and give each bride 100% of my attention, which means that while dates may remain I booked by weddings once I reach that cap my books close.

I can’t wait to get back to sharing the beautiful images captured by all the talented photographers I’ve worked with this year. So enjoy this stunning updo from the spring while I enjoy this cup of coffee in the silence of a house empty of children after a very long 18 months.
